I woke up today primed.
Engine revving. Brain on. Mission loaded.
But something wasn’t right.
I was stuck.
The worst kind of stuck isn’t laziness—it’s being ready to move but nowhere to move to.
Energy loaded into your system like a bowstring pulled tight…
…but the target keeps shifting, or worse—someone else is holding the bow.
There’s a rage that comes with that.
Not anger toward any one person—just the accumulation of tiny weights:
-
The endless domestic noise
-
The undone to-do list
-
The projects waiting on someone else’s green light
-
The sense that you’re always giving, but never quite seen
I was there today.
Instead of spinning out, I did what I’ve trained myself to do:
I moved.
Not with clarity—just with necessity.
Dropped bags to the recycling centre.
Picked up Kim’s favourite coffee and cakes.
Messaged a mate about the lights for 3DAV.
Trying to create momentum. Trying to matter.
But even that started to twist.
When you’re doing things to show love—but it’s met with critique, complaint, or indifference—
you begin to question if any of it lands.
And that’s where the resentment creeps in.
When love feels like a performance review.
I needed out.
I went to the garage, closed the door, and trained.
Back day.
Because the truth is this:
When your world is too heavy, you train your back to carry it.
The playlist hit right. Legendary came on.
And I felt it.
Not motivation.
Not inspiration.
But remembrance.
The King doesn’t wait for permission.
The King doesn’t justify his fire.
The King builds anyway.
I share this not for sympathy, or even strategy—
but because if you’re reading this, you’ve probably felt it too.
That charge. That readiness. That ache to move—but nowhere to aim it.
Let this post be your signal.
You’re not broken.
You’re not lazy.
You’re just primed—and stuck in a system that isn’t built for men like you.
So make space.
Lift something.
Step outside.
Or just scream if you have to.
But don’t turn down the fire.
Because your job isn’t to stay calm.
Your job is to rise.
